COMMON REPAIR TASKS FOR MASERATI VEHICLES

August 15th, 2021 by

When everything is right with your Maserati, you feel like you’re driving one of the finest cars on the planet. But when things go wrong, suddenly its performance just isn’t the same.

If you’ve noticed issues with your vehicle, a certified Maserati repair shop should be able to take care of the issue, and there’s a good chance the problem can be traced back to one of these components.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER
The catalytic converter is an important component of your emissions system. Over time, it can get clogged, which will hurt your vehicle’s performance and gas mileage. When this happens, it will need to be cleaned out or possibly replaced.

OXYGEN SENSOR
The oxygen sensor monitors your car’s air-fuel mixture. Due to too much exposure to exhaust gas, an oxygen sensor may stop working properly. When this occurs, your engine may receive too much fuel or not enough.

SPARK PLUGS
Without spark plugs, you wouldn’t be able to start your engine. When these plugs or their wires wear out, your engine runs the risk of misfiring. Fortunately, spark plugs can be replaced rather easily.

MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR
The mass air flow sensor – like the oxygen sensor – is instrumental in ensuring that your engine gets the right air-fuel mixture. When it’s exposed to too much dirt, it can fail, requiring either a repair or replacement.
