Feel the Power and Performance of the 2022 Maserati MC20
Every Maserati vehicle is incredibly fun to drive, but some may actually be a little more fun than others. Some, in fact, have been designed to resemble – in more ways than one – racecars.
One of these is the new 2022 Maserati MC20. Here’s what we know so far about its performance features.
The Maserati MC20 comes with a twin turbocharged V6 engine that produces a very impressive 630 horsepower. It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The engine actually has a name: Nettuno. And when you get behind the wheel and it feels like you should be on a racetrack, there’s a reason for this. Nettuno uses the same type of twin-combustion system found in Formula 1 cars.
Do you like going really fast, really quickly? Then the Maserati MC20 is for you. Maserati says it will be able to go from zero to 62 mph in less than three seconds.
Plus, though you may never get a chance to test this out, it has a top speed of over 200 mph. In addition to being extremely spry, the Maserati MC20 also offers a very smooth ride, thanks to is adaptive suspension system.
An Electric Variant
Although details are still scare, a fully electric Maserati MC20 will also eventually be released. This will come standard with all-wheel drive, and it’s expected to have a driving range north of 235 miles on a full charge.
