MASERATI SEDANS VS. SUVS
You can’t go wrong with any Maserati vehicle. However, if you can’t decide whether to choose a Maserati sedan or a Maserati SUV, we can help by reviewing two popular models from each class: the Maserati Ghibli sedan and the Maserati Levante SUV.
2021 MASERATI GHIBLI
Even the base Maserati Ghibli has tremendous power, boasting a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that generates 345 horsepower. If you go with the Maserati Ghibli Trofeo, you will get a 3.5-liter V8 engine that produces 580 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission also comes standard, as does rear-wheel drive.
The Maserati Ghibli has a big and spacious cabin that accommodates up to five people. Heated seats and leather upholstery are standard, but for even more lavishness, you can opt for leather and silk upholstery. Every model comes with an infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, navigation, satellite radio, and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration.
If you’re looking for a sedan that can keep you and your passengers safe, the Maserati Ghibli is perfect. Front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and a rearview camera are all standard features, but you can also get automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning.
2021 MASERATI LEVANTE
A champion when it comes to performance, the Maserati Levante comes with a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that generates 345 horsepower. For the most power, you’ll want to go with the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 590 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive come standard with the Maserati Levante, and it also comes with a performance adjustable air suspension system.
Five people will fit very nicely in the Maserati Levante. In addition to leather upholstery (which can also be upgraded to leather and silk), you will get 12-way power-adjustable and heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. This SUV is also loaded with tech amenities, including a wireless charging pad, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, and satellite radio.
The Maserati Levante also comes with automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors. Extras include forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
